What We Look For
We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. As a valuable member of our finance team, you will handle general ledger activities, assist with monthly closings, manage reconciliations, and help maintain financial compliance. Your role will also involve improving accounting processes, supporting audits, and contributing to financial insights that support our business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Monitor expenditures and analyze revenues.
  • Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
  • Performing accounts reconciliations.
  • Producing monthly accounts receivable reports
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Prepare tax provisions schedules, returns, payments, reports and maintain a company’s tax database.
  • Find tax solutions to complicated tax issues or errors from incorrect tax filings
  • Accurately prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
  • Keep up to date with tax changes.
  • Assist in submitting necessary reports to tax authority examiner for the purpose of tax examinations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process

Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Prior experience in logistics company is preferred.
  • Familiar with different types of bank forms and contracts.
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
